Indonesian singer and musician best known for becoming the 2nd Runner-Up on Indonesian Idol Season 12 in 2023. Since his victorious competition on the show, he has made a name for himself within the Indonesian pop and pop-rock music scene, where he has released projects under Universal Music Indonesia. Some of his most popular singles include "Mengapa," "Sepenuh Hati," and "Persona Sederhana," and he has also released studio albums such as "Rahasia Pertama" and "Aku, Kamu, dan Lagu-Lagu Rony Parulian." 

Before fame

He demonstrated a passion for music from an early age, regularly participating in vocal groups and talent shows throughout his childhood. Prior to his breakthrough on Indonesian Idol, he had unsuccessfully auditioned for several different seasons of the show while maintaining a steady career as a performer in local events and venues. 

Trivia

His distinctive rock-influenced performance style and vocal tone led him to become known by the nickname, "Rocker Masa Kini," which translates to "Modern Rocker." In 2025, he won Best Male Pop Solo Artist at the AMI Awards for his work on the album "Rahasia Pertama."

Family life

He and his siblings are of Batak heritage. Throughout his childhood, he and his relatives performed Batak songs together in a family vocal group called Golan Junior.
