Peruvian pastry chef, cake artist, and social media creator known for being the chef director and artistic director of the cake studio Dulcefina. She is also known for her Instagram account @rosalyndulcefina where she shares cake decorating videos, baking tutorials, pastry trends, Dulcefina creations, and behind-the-scenes content with her followers.
Before fame
She helped in the family bakery after school while growing up. She studied at Le Cordon Bleu Perú and built her own path in artistic pastry through courses, seminars, and certifications in countries including Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, and Argentina. She began developing her own cake focused business area within Dulcefina in 2014.
Trivia
She won her first national sugar art competition award in 2005 and eventually trained through workshops in Argentina, the United States, and Colombia. She has competed in and appeared at international cake and sugar art events including ICES, Cake Fair, SoFlo Cake and Candy Expo, and Expo Tortas.
Family life
She grew up surrounded by cakes and sweets because her parents worked in the family pastry business after founding Dulcefina in 1994. and her father Marino Picón was also a pastry chef. She has led Dulcefina with her sister Katherine Picón who has served as the company's commercial director.
