About

Television presenter best known for hosting the 1st and 2nd seasons of the Disney Channel television series Arte Mania, which was the Latin American version of the British program Art Attack.

Before Fame

After graduating from Green Hills College in Mexico City, he applied to the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). His admission exam score was ranked amongst that of the top 4 students. This led him to become the beneficiary of the prestigious Baillères Scholarship, which exempted full payment of tuition fees for the entire program.

Trivia

While attending ITAM, he was at one point named the top scoring student in the entire school. In 2003, he resigned from his role on Arte Mania and returned to Mexico to further continue his studies in telematics engineering and spend more time with his family. From the 3rd season on, his former role on the show was filled by Spanish presenter Jordi Cruz Pérez.

Family Life

In 2008, he travelled with his wife and daughter to the state of Zacatecas for a family vacation. His 2-year-old daughter sadly passed away after contracting pneumonia during the trip. Although it still remains unconfirmed, many believe that the tragedy played a role in his untimely death later that same year.
