Ryoo Seung-bum

Multi-award winning actor most recognized for his role Joo Yang in the 2010 South Korean action film The Unjust, which has won three different film awards. Due to his highly-acclaimed performance in The Unjust, he was given an award for 'Best Actor' during the 2011 Buil Film Awards ceremony.

Before Fame

As a kid, he attended the Jamjeon Elementary School in Seoul, South Korea. He also attended the Daedong Technical High School, but he eventually chose to drop out. 

Trivia

While starring in his first career film, Die Bad, he received an award for 'Best New Actor' during the 2001 Grand Bell Awards ceremony. He was also named 'best New Actor' during the 2002 Baek Sang Art Awards. He is also well-known for his roles in films such as Bloody Tie, Arahan, New World and The Net.

Family Life

He lives along with his wife and their and daughter in the country of South Korea. His brother Ryoo Seung-wan also works within the film industry.
