She pursued higher education at Milwaukee Area Technical College and studied criminal justice. She balanced her coursework with employment and worked multiple jobs to support herself financially. She was in her final semester at MATC in early 2024 and was working toward completing her program. She was last seen on April 1st, 2024, after going on a first date with Maxwell Steven Anderson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was reported missing on April 2nd, 2024, when she did not show up for work and family members could not reach her. She was confirmed deceased later in April 2024 following the investigation after Maxwell Steven Anderson was arrested on April 4th, 2024. She continued to be remembered publicly in 2025 as legal proceedings related to her case concluded and Maxwell Steven Anderson was convicted of her murder.
