Sarina Peterson

About

Nicknamed Petunia, she is a cartoonist and content creator most well known as one-half of the comedic science education YouTube channel Amoeba Sisters. The channel was created as a means to demystify science for struggling students and make the sciences fun and entertaining. 

Before Fame

She earned a degree in economics from Texas A&M University in 2010. She then earned a Master's in Public Policy Analysis from the George Bush School of Government and Public Service. 

Trivia

Outside her STEM career, she has worked as a data analyst for Customer Impact and a program analyst for Dallas ISD. 

Family Life

She shares Amoeba Sisters with her sister Brianna Rapini.
