Former MLB starting pitcher who pitched primarily in the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers organizations during his career. He also played baseball professionally in China, Italy, Canada, and South Korea. He also played for the Canadian men's national team during the World Baseball Classic as well as the Pan American games.

Prior to his professional career, he played college baseball at Missouri Valley College. He later transferred to Bossier Parish Community College and then Oklahoma State University.
