Singer-songwriter who has sung both Pashto and Dari. She first started releasing music in 2008 when she broke onto the Afghan music scene. She has been best known for her charity, using her platform to work as an artist in a charity capacity to help those in need. She hosted her own television program to raise money, awareness and sing her most popular songs. 

Before Fame

She and her family had to leave their country of Afghanistan due to the civil war, and she moved to Pakistan. 

Trivia

When she was a kid, she originally wanted to be a soccer player. One of her most popular Instagram reels features a promotion for her film Chhaaval. It has earned more than 2 million views.

She was married to her husband when she was 25 years old.
