Known best for his work with the Def Jam recording label, this music producer also worked for Hitco Music Publishing and LaFace Records. Some of his famous clients include Ciara, Young Jeezy, and LL Cool J.
Following his graduation from Georgia's Morehouse College, he opened a small, Atlanta-based recording studio.
Tragically, he committed suicide at the age of thirty-four.
He was born and raised in Oakland, California, and he later settled in Atlanta, Georgia. With his fiancee, Michelle Rivers, he had two children: Sebastian and Micaela.
While working for Hitco Music Publishing, he signed pop music star Beyonce Knowles to the label.
