Before fame
He attended Don Bosco High School where he first started making a name for himself in age group cricket. He represented Mumbai at U-16 level and captained the Mumbai U-19 team that won the Cooch Behar Trophy in the 2015-16 season. He made his senior debut for Mumbai across formats in 2018. He had a breakout year in the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy and finished as the tournament's leading wicket-taker with 45 wickets.
