Before fame
He previously played in a metal band before shifting into electronic music and launching ShockOne in the mid-2000s. He released The ShockOne EP in 2009 which helped start his electronic music career. He released his first album Universus in 2013.

He launched Dark Machine Records in 2020. He plays drums, synth, and vocals as part of his live performance setup. He was nominated for Best Independent Dance/Electronica Album at the 2013 AIR Awards for Universus, and was nominated for Live Electronic Act of the Year at the 2018 National Live Music Awards.

His real name is Karl Thomas, and he is originally from Esperance, Western Australia, Australia. His sister Reija Lee has been featured on several of his songs. He has a daughter named Willow.
