Pakistani-born Zimbabwean cricketer known for his play with the Mashonaland Eagles. He received his Zimbabwean citizenship in 2011, allowing him to represent the country in the sport.
He realized his cricketing talent while playing semi-professional cricket during his time at Glasgow Caledonian University, where he was studying software engineering.
He grew up wanting to be a Pakistani Air Force pilot, but was unable to pass the vision tests necessary to fly.
He grew up in Sialkot, Pakistan and moved to Zimbabwe in 2001.
He's been coached by Grant Flower while playing for Mashonaland.
