Before Fame

The first game he played was Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo DS. He started competing in Smash 4 events and doing well before he'd even turned 12. Just four days after he'd turned 13, Wi-Fi Warrior Rank v2 ranked him 31st, making him the youngest player ranked on any iteration of the WWR.

Trivia

 Sparg0 is the sixth-youngest Smash player to win their first major and the youngest player to win a Summit event.

His real name is Edgar Valdez.

After announcing this past April that he'd joined the FaZe clan, the gaming and lifestyle organization, as the very first Smash pro player in the group's 12-year history, Sparg0 announced this past June that he'd be taking a break from competition because of "mental health" issues. Even so, some still believe he could dethrone MKLeo as the best of all time.
