Before Fame

He endured an extremely difficult childhood after the loss of both his parents and his sister forced him to begin fending for himself while still in elementary school. Despite this, he remained faithful to his religion and eventually went on to attend Katulani High School and to later graduate from Multimedia University with a degree in journalism.

He earned 2 Mwafaka grants for his debut album, "Ndikasyoka Thinani," in 2012 and 2014. His #1 single "Kitole" also helped him earn the Eastern Melody of the Year Award from the Groove Grants.

Family Life

His mother, father, and sister passed away when he was a young child in elementary school. He has a brother who often struggled with his mental health and was unable to care for him. In 2023, he married his longtime girlfriend Grace Mbeneka. They had one child together named Shine.
