Actor, producer, and screenwriter best known for founding O Entertainment, the production company responsible for the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius television series and film franchise. He has also been the writer of films such as Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, The Nutty Professor, Patch Adams, and Bruce Almighty, many of which he also produced and/or directed.
Before Fame
He began his career writing for FOX in the late 1980s, including several episodes of the series In Living Color. His first major film success was with the 1994 comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
Trivia
He founded his second production company, Omation Animation Studios, in 2002. Before its eventual shut down in 2013, he used it to produce the popular "Thumbnation" series of short films, including Thumb Wars and Frankenthumb.
