Creator and host of The Pop Chef, a music-based travel, culture and food show. He is a Grammy nominated songwriter, published author and perhaps most well known for his work as a professional background singer on the show Glee for six seasons. He was a 9th place finisher on the 2010 season of The X Factor UK.
He dropped out of school at 14 and moved to the US to pursue a better life and make his dreams come true after being brought up in a lower working class household on the Royal Mile. While still in Edinburgh, he was a waiter at pizza hut.
While competing on The X Factor, he was known as Storm Lee. He has worked as a makeup artist in New York, as a drag performer in Brooklyn, and as a demo singer for rock and pop acts.
He was born Lee Gardner in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was raised by a single dad, Robert Gardner, who was a welder in the shipyards of Leith.
