Sultan Al Neyadi

Astronaut who is widely recognized for having been one of the first astronauts from the United Arab Emirates. In 2019, he was meant to board a Soyuz MS-15 and embark on an 8 day trip to the International Space Station.

Before Fame

He enlisted in the UAE Armed Forces upon graduating from the Um Ghafa Secondary School. 

Trivia

He practices the martial arts discipline of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He trained as an astronaut at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre.

Family Life

He was born in the UAE. His father served in the UAE Armed Forces. He has six children.
