Before fame

She began teaching herself metal screams when she was around 10 years old. She auditioned unsuccessfully for American Idol when she was 15 and eventually photographed and filmed bands in New York's Capital District music scene. She returned to music after posting content on TikTok in early 2020 and eventually formed Aspect Iris.

She is known for original songs including "You Scream Good for a Girl," "Predator," "Fake Friends," and "Watch the World Burn." Her band's song "Angels to Ashes" was used during a Haus of Harleen runway presentation at New York Fashion Week.

Family life

Her real name is Taylor Santalucia. Her parents raised her on bands including Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, and Linkin Park. She and her partner Adrian welcomed their daughter Kairi Phoenix in August 2025.
