Family Life
He was born Theodor David Martin in Massachusetts but grew up in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. His family's military heritage goes back to 1776, when Private Daniel Martin enlisted in the 1st New Jersey Infantry Regiment and fought the British during the American Revolution. Martin was named for his uncle who served in the Korean War alongside his father. He has a wife and children.
