American Republican politician who served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 2003 to 2008. He was elected to the Ohio Senate in 2008.
He attended Cleveland State University and entered politics during 2002 after the state of Ohio went through a period of redistricting.
He ran unopposed in the 2008 Republican primary and won the general election to the Senate with more than 65% of the vote.
