Sportscaster and former NFL player best known as the host of the ESPN radio show Waddle and Silvy and as an analyst for NFL Network. He spent his entire six-year NFL career as a member of the Chicago Bears, leading the team in receiving yards in 1992 and 1993.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and played college football with the Boston College Eagles, with whom he was a First-Team All-East selection.
He finished his Boston College career with the record for most receptions in a season with 70 and was inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998.
He married a woman named Cara, who is the daughter of AFL Hall of Famer Gino Cappelletti. They have children together.
He has filled in for Mike Greenberg on ESPN Radio's Mike and Mike in the Morning.
