British music producer, artist, and DJ known for her dance and electronic music. She has worked on music with many names in the industry including Ellie Goulding, Gregory Porter, Gabrielle Aplin, Diplo, and others.

Before Fame

She was a dancer before she pursued a career in music. She couldn't afford a DJ for her 16th birthday party, so she mixed a CD all by herself. She attended university, but she later had to drop out due to health reasons. 

Trivia

Her full name is Teisha Matthews. 2020 was a big year for her career, as she was named "Star of 2020" by BBC. She was also signed by the Ninja Tune label. 

Family Life

In an interview with Burberry, she spoke about how her mother raised her on her own, and that she is a large part of her inspiration. Her mother and brother are both fans of electronic music, so she grew up with it often playing in the house.
