Before Fame

She began her musical training when she was 8 years old after joining a state children's opera and choir. She continued studying music during her school years through Hacettepe Conservatory where she also developed a passion for design. She earned her undergraduate degree in Industrial Design from Istanbul Technical University and went on to complete her master's degree at Politecnico di Milano in Italy where she specialized in technology-integrated product design. She recorded covers, performed in small ensembles, and worked as a backing vocalist for other artists while still in university. She began releasing original music in 2022 with "Ne Olur Kal."

Trivia

She delivered a TEDx talk highlighting her journey as both a musician and designer at TEDxGebze in 2025. She plays the guitar. She is also known for her Instagram account @yilmaztuana where she shares her music, visual aesthetics, fashion, and creative projects with over 340,000 followers.

Family Life

Her relationship with Turkish actor Burak Yoruk became public in 2024, and the couple announced their engagement shortly afterward.
