Before fame
He grew up skiing from the time he was a small child and originally trained as a ski racer before switching full-time to freestyle. He was already competing in junior events and placing on the podium in slopestyle and halfpipe competitions at six years old. He was already landing double corks and spinning 1080s and 1260s in the terrain park at around 10 years old which helped him go viral online. He appeared in early skiing edits and brand projects and began traveling to film at Park City, Mt. Hood, Absolutpark, Mammoth, Stubai, and other iconic freestyle locations. His growing reputation led to him being named to the U.S. Freeski Team rookie roster in 2023-2024.
