At seven feet and eight inches tall, this Chinese citizen held the Guinness World Record as tallest woman alive.
Though she was born at a low-side-of-normal weight of just over six pounds, she had grown to be nearly seven feet tall by her fifteenth birthday.
Her condition of gigantism was the result of a pituitary gland tumor.
She grew up in poverty in Liuan, China. Interestingly, her mother was just under five feet tall.
She narrowly surpassed the height record set by a 7'7" tall American woman named Sandy Allen.
