Yuri Chursin

About

Russian actor best known for his roles in The Three Musketeers, Playing the Victim and Mafia: The Game of Survival. In 2022, he starred in Amore More - a dramedy series about poly-amorous relationships. Recent work also includes the fantasy series Aeterna, and the film Little Red Riding Hood. In 2014, he was nominated for the Best Russian Actor of the Decade. 

Before Fame

He grew up in a small town in the Soviet Union, now Kazakhstan. He graduated from the Lyceum No. 17 of the city of Khimki, Moscow Oblast in 1997. He then went on to attend the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute, graduating from the acting department in 2001. He was accepted into the troupe of the State Academic Theater. 

Trivia

His chursin_yury Instagram has 20,000 followers. There are stylized photos of him, some in vaguely effeminate looks. There are pictures of nature landscaped and city streets and of historical figures that he admires. One of his most popular photos on Instagram is a close-up of him smoking a cigarette, which has earned over 6,000 likes.

His father was a soldier. His wife is Anna Chursina, and together they have 2 children.
