Before Fame
He won the Rwandatel Jingle Contest in 2009 when he was 14 years old, which sparked his passion for creating music. He attended the University of Rwanda and earned a BA in business information and technology. He released his debut single '"Injyana" in 2015.

He was the first Rwandan musician to win the Prix Decouvertes RFI musical award in 2018.
Family Life
He was born Yvan Burabyo. He was born and raised in Gikondo, Rwanda. He was the youngest of six siblings. He passed away on August 17th, 2022 in India after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
