Before fame

She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from San Francisco State University. She eventually opened a private bodywork practice and worked as a physical therapy aide before earning a master's degree in Oriental Medicine and then becoming a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in 2004. She made her television debut on 90 Day Fiancé in April 2022.

She became president of the New Mexico Society for Acupuncture and Asian Medicine in September 2024.

Family life

She is of Apache Native American heritage. Her son Tharan was born in 2010 with Down syndrome, autism, and kidney disease which inspired her work with children with special needs. She met Mohamed Abdelhamed after he contacted her through Instagram, and they became engaged after she traveled to Egypt. She married him in January 2022, but they separated that August, and she filed for divorce in September 2022.
