Eritrean-Italian actress, singer, model, and film producer who began her film career in the 1972 film La ragazza dalla pelle di luna. From there she starred in more films, many of them directed by Luigi Scattini, before leaving acting and beginning to produce her own work.
Before Fame
She was born in Dekemhare, Ethiopia (present-day Eritrea). She was first introduced to director Luigi Scattini while shooting a commercial for coffee in 1972.
Trivia
She comes from a political family: her father was a politician and her uncle was a diplomat. Throughout the course of her career, she appeared in more than ten films, as well as a few different television shows.
Family Life
She was married to Italian film producer Franco Cristaldi in 1983 until he died in 1992. She and director Massimo Spano have been together since 1994 and have a son named Michelangelo.
