Post-rock band known for their ethereal sound, classical, and minimal aesthetic elements. Their name means "Victory Rose" and is the name of lead vocalist Jonsi Birgisson's younger sister. Band members appeared on Game of Thrones as minstrels at the wedding of Joffrey Baratheon.

Their music has featured in films such as Vanilla Sky, Penelope, We Bought a Zoo, and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Series such as Orphan Black and CSI: Miami also used their music.
