Castle in the Sky
About
A young orphan is kidnapped before being attacked by sky pirates. She teams up with a fellow orphan to discover the mystical floating city of Laputa. The film marked the first project to be animated by Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli.
Trivia
In 2006, the film was voted the second best animated picture at the Japan Media Arts Festival. Disney produced an English dub that would release in 1999.
