Journalist who is best recognized for being a White House correspondent for CNN. She is also known for her work with Washington Week and C-Span and has also worked for The Washington Post and POLITICO as a journalist as well.
She graduated from Harvard University in 2010 with her degree in Government. She wrote for the Harvard Crimson while attending school before getting a job with the Washington Post. She then joined CNN in 2016 where her first major work was coverage of the Trump Administration.
She was featured in a New York Times article focused on Millennial Reporters which discussed her coverage with The Washington Post and featured a photograph of her conducting an interview.
She was born and raised in Bowie, Maryland and shared a photo with her husband Marcus through Instagram in November of 2018. The couple welcomed a daughter, Naomi Angelina Richardson, in August 2021.
As a campaign reporter during 2016, she covered and interviewed then-Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
