Before fame

He began making beats as a teenager and studied mixing at SAE Institute in Paris before launching an artist and DJ career connected to Universal Music, Sony Music, and Ultra Records. He released the EP Rewind featuring Rhea Raj in 2017. His major breakthrough came after attending an SM Entertainment writing camp in Seoul in 2019 which led to high-profile K-pop work.

Trivia

He was nominated for Arranger of the Year at the Asian Music Awards in 2021. He taught himself how to play piano, bass, guitar, and drums before becoming a multi-platinum producer. He has been a member of the Les Paul Foundation advisory board.

Family life

His real name is Harold Philippon. He was born and raised in Lyon, France and has been based between Houston, Texas, and Los Angeles, California. He fell in love with music while attending concerts with his father.
