Rapper from the South Side of Chicago, he is part of the Chicago-based hip hop group Village 777. In March 2013, he released his debut mixtape, Club Wiley.
He played violin in school but never really got into music until afterward. He has severe ADD, didn't do well in school because of it, and was wondering what he was going to do with his life, when he met aspiring rappers that would later become his Village 777 peers. At first, he considered the idea of Village 777 as a bit of a joke. He even called it Swag Village. But soon he was sucked into his love for rap and music and hasn't looked back.
In 2014 he was nominated for XXL's Freshman list, called an "artist to watch" by The Huffington Post, named Chicago's "best kept secret" by Revolt TV, and termed as a soon-to-be breakout artist by Chicago Reader, The Redeye, and Chicago Magazine. He performed at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas, for radio host Peter Rosenberg's showcase.
He grew up in Hyde Park, a diverse, middle class community. He is an only child.
He is part of Village 777 with his co-founder and fellow Chicago rapper Kembe X.
