Before Fame

As a child growing up in Bolivia, her parents took her and her brother to a chess club, among other extracurricular activities. At first, she struggled with the game. However, she quickly began to improve and went on to win national tournaments quickly thereafter, including the Olympiad and World Championship.

Family Life

She has a younger brother named Erick. She shared photos of her pet cat in July of 2020.
