Japanese voice actress and singer known for voicing iconic anime characters such as Kaori Fujimiya in One Week Friends, Aqua in KonoSuba, Elizabeth Liones in The Seven Deadly Sins, Touka Kirishima in Tokyo Ghoul, Akame in Akame ga Kill!, and Chizuru Ichinose in Rent-A-Girlfriend. She is also known for her anime theme songs and solo music including "Skyreach," "Tsukiakari," "PARADOX," "Regeneration," "Love-Evidence," "irodori," "Eternal," "Chikai," "Defiance," and "Viper" along with the albums Various BLUE and The Only BLUE, and the popular covers series Covers, Covers II, and Covers III.

Before fame

She became interested in voice acting after discovering performances by veteran seiyuu Miyuki Sawashiro while in high school. She auditioned for the talent agency Music Ray'n and passed in 2011. She made her professional voice acting debut in 2012. Her major breakthrough came in 2014 when she began landing lead roles across multiple series in the same year including One Week Friends, Akame ga Kill!, Aldnoah.Zero, Tokyo Ghoul, and The Seven Deadly Sins.

Trivia

She won Best Rookie Actress at the 9th Seiyu Awards in 2015. She is a founding member of the voice actress unit TrySail which debuted in 2015. She created a YouTube channel in 2020 to showcase her singing and music.
