She released her first single "Wait for Me" in December of 2021, and the project Love Is My Religion, in November 2022. She has earned over 340,000 followers on her girlsloveamari TikTok account, where she documents her music career and responds to questions and comments from fans. 

Before Fame

She was initially interested in basketball, but a singing group she met during gym class in high school sparked her interest in making music of her own, which she started doing by recording songs with her iPhone. 

Trivia

She became a part of the YouTube Music Foundry Class of 2022, which is a program that provides independent artists with funding to help develop their content. By May 2023, she had seen her following on Spotify grow to more than 55,000 monthly listeners. Many of her songs on the platform have received hundreds of thousands of views. 

Family Life

Her mother is a singer who performed in musicals, events, and at church. She also has a twin brother who is a singer and a professional actor. 

Associated With

She collaborated with R&B singer Jacob Latimore to create the song Wouldn't Do 2. She is scheduled to begin touring with R&B singer Kaash Paige in March 2023.
