Before fame
He spent several months in two of Sydney's maximum-security prisons in 2021 after being convicted for the commercial supply of psychedelic drugs. He discovered comedy while he was incarcerated. He committed to stand-up comedy after being released from prison. He began performing regularly in Sydney comedy clubs which led to his debut comedy show Jokes About the Time I Went to Prison. He began sharing his comedy content online around 2023 which helped boost his growing comedy career.
Trivia
His show earned him a Best Newcomer nomination at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2023. He began co-hosting the comedy podcast Flog Cabin with Daniel Muggleton and Tom Witcombe in 2023. He released the book The Profound Benefits of a Stint in Prison in July 2024.
Family life
He is from Australia. He began performing stand-up under strict legal conditions after his prison release, so his parents had to accompany him to early comedy shows and make sure he returned home before curfew.
