Award-winning international choreographer with numerous competition victories through the 2000's. She was awarded the Best Classical Choreography award by the Circle of Critics of the National Dance Award UK for her production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
She trained at the Royal Ballet Academy before joining the contemporary dance company Djazzex in 1993. She was a soloist for seven years at Scapino Ballet Rotterdam.
Her first acclaimed work in the United States was called Before After.
She is half-Colombian and half-Belgian, but is based out of the Netherlands.
She and Susan Stroman are both award-winning choreographers.
