Indian actress, television host, and reality television personality known for her work in films and television shows such as Aa Karaala Ratri, Thrayambakam, Chi Sou Savithri, and Akka. She is also known for appearing on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 in 2017 and returning for another season in 2021-2022, as well as hosting shows including Majaa Bharatha, Kannada Kogile, Raja Rani, Nannamma Super Star, and Suvarna Jackpot.

Before fame

She began her career as a child artist in the film Lankesh Patrike in 2003. She appeared in the reality show Halli Duniya in the early 2010s which helped her gain visibility in the Kannada television industry. She then appeared in television serials such as Akka Tangi, Chi Sou Savithri, and Akka. She began her hosting career with the comedy reality show Majaa Bharatha around 2015. Her big break came when she appeared on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5 in 2017.

She is known for balancing careers in acting and television hosting and has said that acting is her passion while anchoring is her profession. She won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress for her role as a journalist in the 2019 film Thrayambakam in 2025.

Her full name is Anupama Anandkumar Gowda. She was born and raised in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
