Before Fame
His career in music started by learning Hindustani classical music. After moving to Mumbai in 2006, he studied under playback singer Suresh Wadkar. He studied Audio Engineering at Trinity College and went on to study jazz in Delhi and Mumbai.
Trivia
He won the gold medal at the 2017 Creative ABBY Awards for Original Background Score for his work on the film POW Bandi Yuddh Ke.

He was first introduced to Hindustani classical music by his parents who were also musicians.
