Peruvian journalist who is known for his work in the mediums of print, radio, and television. He specializes in economic coverage of Peru and has also served as the director of Peru.21 and anchor of the program Ampliacion de Noticias.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of the Pacific before earning his Master's degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He started his career as a journalist working for Grupo Apoyo station in 1980.
He is also an author and has written and published several different academic books including Los Objectivos de las Empresas Estales in 1985 and Peru 1964-1994: Exonomia Sociedad y Politica in 1995.
He was born and raised in Lima, Peru.
