Before fame
He grew up living and working on a dairy farm with his family in Vermont. He has talked openly about struggling with addiction during his youth before discovering music as an outlet and embracing Christianity. He played his first show at a small bar called Sherry's Place in 2017 before relocating to Nashville in order to pursue a music career more seriously. He went on to be signed by Provident Label Group in 2022.
