American record producer and music executive, also known as Boy Wonder CF, who is widely recognized for being the CEO of his own imprint, Chosen Few Emerald Entertainment, Inc. He is highly regarded for his work in the Latin/Urbano and reggaetón music genres, having produced multiple compilation albums, remixes, and even full artist projects. He is also known for his documentary style albums such as "Chosen Few II: El Documental," which was certified double platinum and remained among the Top 5 of Billboard music charts for several months. 

Before Fame

He was raised in Long Island City, Queens, where he became fascinated by the emerging Latin urban scene throughout New York and began working his way into Latino hip-hop/reggaetón communities during the early 2000s. His first major project under the Chosen Few brand was "Chosen Few I: El Documental" (2003/2004).

Trivia

His 2005 remix of "Reggaetón Latino" featured celebrated artists including Don Omar and Fat Joe, and was regarded as an international hit as well as a landmark track in the crossover of reggaetón music. It has been ranked as the 2nd biggest crossover track in the genre's history, behind only Daddy Yankee's "Gasolina." The track remained on the Billboard music charts for over 44 weeks. It was featured on his album, "Chosen Few I: El Documental," which received the 2004 Latin Billboard Award for Best Latin Compilation of the Year. It was also multi-platinum certified by the RIAA. In 2011, he was nominated for a Latin Billboard Music Award for Best Latin Albums Rhythm Label of the Year.

He was born Manuel Alejandro Ruiz. He was raised by a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother.

He produced the 2008 remix "Mi Alma Se Muere," featuring Pitbull and Omega El Fuerte, which remained at #22 on the Top 100 Billboards Tropical chart for over 24 weeks after its release. He has also worked with artists such as Plan BTrick Daddy, and Trina on the 2007 remix of "Friktona."
