Before Fame
He went to İstanbul Anatolian Fine Arts High School, where he played the flute and the piano in the orchestra. He then went to Kabataş Erkek Lisesi, where he won the inter-school music competition three years in a row.
Trivia
In 1996, he performed a duet with Greek singer Sakis Rouvas in an attempt to bring together the two nations. He was awarded the Abdi Ipecki Peace Prize for this concert.
Family Life
He married doctor Cansel Yeni in 2011. They had a child, Aden Bucan Kut, the same year.
