Before fame

He studied psychology at the University of Cape Town. He worked at a video shop while he was in university which is where he developed an interest in entertainment and engaging with people. He began working as an MC before graduating. He was given the opportunity to audition at Good Hope FM in 2008 where he initially worked as a stand-in presenter before securing a full-time role as a sports presenter on the station's breakfast show. He then joined The Drive Show and continued to grow within the station. He transitioned into breakfast radio in 2010. He hosted Afternoon LIVE and the Good Hope FM Hot 30 in 2015. He made a major career move in 2016 when he joined Kfm 94.5 and initially hosted the midday slot before eventually taking over the afternoon drive show.
