Award-winning vallenato singer who kicked off his career in 2009 with the collaborative album Aquí Estoy. He then followed up in 2014 with another collaborative album titled Sólido. 

Before Fame

Growing up, he was a soloist in his school's choir. By the age of eighteen he'd formed his first vallenato group while earning a degree in sound engineering. 

Trivia

An actor as well as a singer, he plays Rafael Escalona in the 2017 drama series  La Cacica. 

Family Life

His full name is Jose Luis Alfonso Carrillo Solano. He hails from Barrancas, La Guajira, Colombia.
