Before Fame
He studied at the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated around 2007. He joined the band Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti early in his career. He then was part of the duo The Samps. He began working in high-profile production in the early 2010s once he started working with Beck. He released his debut solo EP Cole M.G.N. in 2016.
