Trivia

Growing up in the tiny town of Bliss, Idaho, he spent his childhood competing in rodeos before shifting his focus entirely to football. In his early high school years, he actually played as a wide receiver and cornerback before physically filling out to transition into a tight end role. When he was about six years old, he hilariously tried to give himself a mohawk but accidentally shaved a reverse stripe straight down the middle of his head instead. Additionally, despite being a first-round NFL draft pick, he skipped the main green room event and chose to celebrate the draft from his aunt and uncle's rural home surrounded by mounted animal heads.

Family life

He is the son of Chad Loveland and Rachel Faulkner, who raised him on a cattle ranch. He has two brothers named Cayden and Cash.
