American actress, stunt performer, writer, and producer best known for portraying a wide array of supporting and character roles across television and film. She has appeared in series including iCarly, Days of Our Lives, Shameless, and The Bold and the Beautiful. She has also accrued multiple film appearances in titles such as The Deliverance and Killing the Competition, often performing her own stunts. 

Before fame

She grew up playing competitive basketball and earned a full athletic scholarship to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she was a four-year starter. After suffering several knee injuries, she was forced to relinquish her dreams of making it to the WNBA; however, she discovered an alternative passion in performance. She honed her craft by working in commercials and stage theatre before graduating from the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland.

Trivia

Before she was forced to switch careers due to injury, she was selected 21st overall in the 2004 WNBA Draft by the San Antonio Silver Stars. She has been inducted into the Pittsburgh City League, Western Pennsylvania, and Pittsburgh Basketball Club Sports Halls of Fame. In 2020, she both wrote and performed her own women show called Almost 40 & Single, which was presented at the Scene & Heard Festival in Dublin, Ireland before a reprise at L.A.'s Hollywood Complex in 2022.
